You Are Not Broken – You Are Becoming

If you’ve found yourself here, know that it’s not by accident. Something inside you is ready—ready to heal, grow, and reclaim your power. Whether you're carrying the weight of childhood trauma, emotional pain, or long-standing patterns that no longer serve you, this is a safe space for your recovery journey.

Trauma is not just something that happens to us—it’s something that lives in us. When we experience overwhelming events, especially in childhood, our nervous system adapts for survival. These adaptations may include shutting down emotionally, becoming hyper-vigilant, people-pleasing, or disconnecting from our own needs. While these responses may have protected us in the past, they often become the very patterns that keep us feeling stuck in adulthood. Trauma can shape how we respond to stress, how we view ourselves, and even how our bodies function day to day.

The effects of trauma ripple into every area of life. In the body, it may show up as chronic pain, fatigue, autoimmune issues, or digestive problems—symptoms that often have no clear medical cause but are deeply rooted in unresolved stress. In relationships, trauma can distort our ability to trust, communicate, or feel safe with others. We may struggle with boundaries, attract unhealthy dynamics, or isolate ourselves out of fear of being hurt again. Most profoundly, trauma can shape how we see the world: instead of feeling safe and open, life may feel threatening, unpredictable, or overwhelming. Healing invites us to gently rewire these responses—to move from survival mode into a life rooted in safety, connection, and self-trust.

Trauma Recovery Coaching

Trauma recovery coaching is a compassionate, forward-focused approach that supports individuals in healing from the emotional wounds of past trauma. Unlike therapy, which often delves into processing the past, trauma coaching helps you understand your patterns, regulate your nervous system, and take empowered steps toward creating a life rooted in safety, self-trust, and purpose. It combines mindset work, emotional regulation tools, and holistic practices to gently guide you from survival mode into a life of connection, clarity, and growth.

About me

My name is Steph, and I'm not just a coach or a therapy practitioner - I'm a survivor who has walked through fire and found my way back to life. I am a survivor of childhood abuse, I've endured abuse as an adolescent and a young adult, battled addiction to numb the pain, suffered from severe mental health struggles, experienced the heartbreak of pregnancy loss, and endured complex medical complications. I've also been diagnosed with multiple chronic health conditions, which I believe are deeply rooted in the trauma my body held for so many years. So, believe me when I say, I've experienced trauma at many different levels. I haven't just been to the depths of hell- I lived there. I've carried the silence, the shame, and the weight of a past that tried to define me. But I also fought my way back. I've been through the court process, faced my abuser, and witnessed justice being served. I know first hand how harrowing, terrifying, isolating, and exhausting that journey can be.

My passion for therapy and coaching was born from the loneliness I felt in my own trauma and healing. I know how impossible healing can feel, and to believe you're worthy of peace or happiness after everything you've endured. I also wanted to give my trauma purpose; I wanted to turn my pain into something meaningful. Rather than letting it define me, I've chosen to use my experience as a catalyst for growth, compassion, and connection. Helping others heal has become the most powerful way to bring light to what once felt like endless darkness - and to remind others that their story too, can lead to something beautiful.

I've spent the last eight years studying Psychology and Counselling at degree level, alongside numerous diplomas in trauma, therapy, coaching, and various healing modalities - because I wanted to truly understand trauma, not just from lived experience, but with depth and from a scientific and holistic perspective.

Today, I stand not as someone who's "fixed" or flawless, but as someone who has risen from the wreckage - stronger, softer, and more grounded in truth. Healing is possible. You are not too damaged, too broken, or too far gone. You deserve to feel safe, seen, and alive in your own skin.

No matter where you are right now, healing is possible - and you don't have to walk the path alone. I'm here to support you in reclaiming your power, reconnecting with your true self, and building a life that feels safe, meaningful, and yours.
